In response to COVID 19, Indonesia's capital Jakarta declared a two-week state of emergency on Monday. But Jakarta's railway stations are still overcrowded because of poor arrangements. Sixty-five new cases of COVID 19 were reported in Indonesia, bringing the total number of cases to 579, Singapore's Union Morning Paper reported Wednesday. Indonesia also added one COVID 19 death to the day, with 49 deaths and 30 others recovering, health officials said. In response to the outbreak, the Indonesian government converted four of the 10 buildings in the 2018 Asian games village in Jakarta into covid-19 emergency hospitals. The hospital was put into operation Tuesday, but will not accept patients for the time being.
