DuPont promote immune benefits in pregnancy with Lactobacillus probiotic

DuPont Nutrition & Biosciences’ Howaru platform adds another probiotic product to the stable with the release of Protect Prenatal+ probiotic formula aimed at women during pregnancy. The formulation mixes lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 and  Lactobacillus acidohphilus La-14 strains with lactoferrin to promote immune, mood and vaginal benefit for women during foetal and postnatal periods. The Denmark-based firm believe that the proudct is an opportunity to improve the health in pregnant women, a particularly sensitie population, particulary during the first 3 months of early life.
